This piece was created and presented during the first exhibition of “Feast of the Barbarians” at the prestigious Musée des Arts et Métiers in Paris, under the choir of the Saint-Martin-des-Champs chapel, beside Foucault’s pendulum. It is the final photograph in the “Trilogy of the Moderns.” Bold and uncompromising, the barbarians represent those who push boundaries to the extreme, flirting with chaos. Endowed with a certain genius, they infiltrate by any means, ready to overturn established codes, break free from social norms, disrupt lifestyles, and ultimately transcend the human condition.
