Arnaud Baumann

Arnaud Baumann, born in 1953 in La Réunion, is a distinguished French portrait photographer and videographer, renowned for his work exhibited in various galleries and institutions. Studying architecture in Paris from 1973 to 1978, Baumann forged a friendship with photographer Xavier Lambours. In 2015, they co-published “Dans le ventre de Hara Kiri” following the Charlie Hebdo attack. Baumann’s extensive career includes contributions to prominent publications, exhibitions, and projects such as “Sous la douche” in 2010. In 2018, the “Total Baumann” exhibition showcased 40 years of his photographic production. Currently residing in Fontenay-aux-Roses, his work is distributed internationally by the Sipa Press agency.
